Hi thanks for the link—I was really impressed with Band’s system for calculating arbitrary curves.

The sales tax as a front-running mitigation seems totally viable for certain scenarios but I see two problems:

1) It only works for sufficiently small orders. If the order is large enough it may span whatever the gap is between prices created by the fee, creating a front-running opportunity regardless.

2) It pushes users away from the bonding curve as the gap in buy/sell price from the fee can be avoided if purchases are made OTC or on another exchange.
